(Note: Remove protective plastic coating from stainless
steel panels and corners before installation)
1) Lay cabinet on its front on a clean
surface (the styrofoam in the shipping carton works well)
2) Using a 1/8" drill bit (supplied in
kit) , remove rivets from top
cap. You may wish to slide a putty knife under top cap to deburr.
3) Slide rear panel under top cap until bottom
flange of panel is snug against bottom of cabinet
4) Drill through rivet openings & install pop
rivets (note: leave (2) end holes open until corners are installed)
5) Slide end panels under top cap.
6) Slide (2) corner angles under to cap until
bottoms line up with panels. Push bottoms of corners snug against cabinet
and secure with metal screws (drill holes with supplied #29 drill bit) through
corners, panels and cabinet. Install remaining pop rivets in top cap
7) Turn cabinet over on its back. Remove
rivets as in step (2). Remove nameplate & plastic filler plug. Remove
compressor cover. Remove temperature control and re-mount to bracket
provided. Install new bracket at edge of compressor opening
using metal
screws.
8) Slide front panel under top cap. Attach as
in step (4)
9) Install corners as in step (6)
10) Press (2) socket head cap screws
into
retaining holes in top of compressor compartment. Slide bracket on new
compressor cover over cap screws and attach at
bottom with metal screws
